The Louvre is closed on Tuesdays.
The museum operates from 9 am to 6 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Louvre’s opening hours on Fridays are from 9 am to 9.45 am.
The only public holidays that the Louvre stays closed are 1 January (New Year’s Day), 1 May (International Workers’ Day), and 25 December (Christmas Day).
It remains open on all other public holidays.
The rooms clear 30 minutes before closing and the last entry is one hour before closing time.
