Louvre Museum Entrances

Carrousel du Louvre Entrance

The Carrousel du Louvre entrance or the ‘mall entrance to the Louvre’ is the easiest to access and, thus, the most crowded.

This entrance is open to specific groups.

This entrance is close to the Tuileries Garden, which will give you a beautiful view along the way.

You will find this entrance inside the Louvre.

The Porte de Lions Louvre Museum entrance is perfect if you want to avoid crowds and enter closest to the Louvre Pyramid.

However, you can only use this entrance if you have made prior reservations.

Additionally, make sure you aren’t carrying large bags, as you’ll be denied this entry since there are no lockers available at this entrance.
